Who is your Bridle Bestie?

I thought I knew horses.

I showed academy in the Saddleseat world as a kid and a teenager. My parents had a small horse farm growing up. I even jumped for a year in college — the whole Saddleseat-to-hunter/jumper crossover. Then real life happened: a career, a job, years away from daily barn life.

Bridle Besties is what happened next: **I'm a mom introducing my daughter to the horse world, while coming back into it myself as an adult amateur** — both of us new to this in our own way, at the same time, side by side.

I'd spent years away from the barn; she was just discovering it for the first time. Watching her fall in love with something I'd loved my whole life, and getting to fall in love with it all over again *alongside* her, is honestly one of the best parts of being her mom.

This is a space built from that overlap. The guides come from questions I actually had to work through as her mom, not just as a rider. The barn-life gear comes from what we actually use and love, sitting on the same tack trunk. Even the name is us — two besties who happen to share a bridle path.

**If you're a horse mom, a horse daughter, or both at once the way we are, I hope something here feels like it was made for your family too** — because in a lot of ways, it was made from ours.
